About the ConferenceFounded in 2001, the biennial International Conference on Ecology andTransportation (ICOET) brings together the world’s foremost experts in the field oftransportation development, related scientific study, and administration to enhance boththe project development processes and the ecological sustainability of surfacetransportation systems. The mostrecent ICOET 2011 conference featured over 150 presentations of technical papers andposters, plenary and keynote remarks by US and international policymakers, facilitateddiscussion sessions, and interactive field trips.
