will host an Antique Auto Show at their
facility located at 1049 Burnt Tavern
Road in Brick. This will be a community
event for all ages, with live entertainment,
free food and give-a-ways. View antique
cars and vote on your favorite. There
will be a petting zoo, games and prizes

The Br i C k ro t A r y Cl u B is excited to
announce that they will be sponsoring
the third annual “Dog Fest,” a day of food
and fun for our furry friends and their
families. The event will take place on
Sunday, October 6th (rain date is October
13th) from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at
Windward Beach on Princeton Avenue in
Brick. General admission donation is $5.
There will be an additional registration
fee for competing canines. For additional

The day’s festivities will include canine
demonstrations, contests, prizes, food
and fun for our furry friends and their
families. There will be contests for
the dogs in costume and in various
categories. Demonstrations of various
service dogs will take place throughout the
day. Families can shop for supplies and
services for their pets that are provided
by local vendors. There will be food and

CA rM e l e n A CAr e s, in C., held their 2nd
annual golf outing at Eagle Ridge Golf
Course on Aug.6th. The successful outing
raised funds to help deserving children
who have suffered traumatic injuries with
therapies and/or therapeutic equipment.
Carmelena Cares was established in 2011
by Vinnie and Joanne Mancini after they
saw firsthand the need to help children
whose families could not afford necessary
equipment or therapy. Their daughter,
Carmelena was severely injured after
being hit by a car in 2006. Carmelena is
well cared for and no funds are used for
her care. To date, Carmelena Cares has
provided a specialized bike for a Brick
Twp. girl and an iPad for a young man
with muscular dystrophy. For more info.
