19Note:-The Commanding Officer of unit shall also check and intimate <strong>the</strong> details ofdemands outstanding against <strong>the</strong> Officer as at (1) (e) (i) above to <strong>the</strong> Controllerof Defence Accounts (Officers).INVALID PENSION/ INVALID GRATUITY DISABILITY PENSION WARINJURY PENSION RETIREMENT GRATUITY AND FAMILY PENSION31. Procedure detailed below shall be followed by all concerned <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> sanction ofinvalid <strong>pension</strong> or disability Pension or war injury Pension, retirement gratuity andfamily <strong>pension</strong> or invalid gratuity in respect of Officer.(a) The MP-5&6 of Adjutant General’s Branch of Integrated Headquarters,Ministry of Defence (Army) in <strong>the</strong> case of Service Officers, Medical Personnel ServiceRecord (Officers) in <strong>the</strong> case of Army Medical Corps, Army Dental Corps and MilitaryNursing Service or Territorial Army Directorate in <strong>the</strong> case of Territorial Army Officersafter issue of orders of invalidment of <strong>the</strong> Officer, shall <strong>for</strong>ward a copy <strong>the</strong>reof, withintwo months, to <strong>the</strong>-(i) Controller of Defence Accounts (Officers)(ii) Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Pensions), along with a copy of<strong>the</strong>(1) Nomination <strong>for</strong> death gratuity(2) Family details as per <strong>the</strong>ir record(3) Sanction of competent authority regarding attributability to/aggravation of <strong>the</strong> disability by military service as per Annexure –III to Appendix VI to <strong>the</strong>se Regulations.(4) Invaliding Medical Board proceedings (AFMSF-16) containingassessment with regard to percentage of disability as recommendedby <strong>the</strong> Invaliding Medical Board and approved by next highermedical authority.(5) In case of disablement due to injury attributability certificate fromBrigade Commander/Sub-area Commander as per Annexure- I toAppendix VI to <strong>the</strong>se Regulations.(6) Copy of DO Part-II order notifying invalidment of <strong>the</strong> Officer(7) Nomination made by Officer <strong>for</strong> payment of arrears of <strong>pension</strong>s onForm A, duly attested as required.(iii) In case of injuries -(1) Injury report (IAFY-2006), if any,(2) Findings of Court of Inquiry (IAFD-931), if any, with <strong>the</strong>opinion of <strong>the</strong> competent authority with regard to attributability.In case of disease-(3) Report of Officer Commanding Unit and Medical Officer reporton AFMSF-81In case of battle casualties and battle accidents-(4) Injury report (IAFY-2006), if any,Pension Regulations <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> Army, Part II (2008)
