BLAST—RadioRA® 2 Qualification Level 1What is BLAST?The Lutron® Basic Lighting and Sales Training (BLAST) is designedfor any residential dealer or contractor who is interested in themid-market, retrofit lighting control opportunity.At BLAST, you will learn about:• The “business case” for RadioRA 2 and the mid-market, retrofit opportunity• System design and programming utilizing the RadioRA 2 Essentials software• Integrating RadioRA 2 using third-party equipment• Activating devices and transferring the programmingUpon completion of the course and its requirements, attendees earnaccess to the RadioRA 2 Essentials software that allows forsystem expansion of up to 100 devices.What are the training options?We offer two options for completing this FREE Level 1 (BLAST) qualification:BLAST-Off is a one-day local qualification training.BLAST-On is an online qualification training for those who are unable to attend a BLAST-Off due tolocation or timing.Sign-up and requirementsBLAST-Off:All signups for BLAST-Off are managed through Lutron’s partner distribution network. Contact your localbranch today or email ra2training@lutron.com to find out when a training session is happening near you.To complete BLAST-Off training and receive software access, you must attend the full day of training.


BLAST—RadioRA® 2 Qualification Level 11234Sign-up and requirements (continued)BLAST-OnTo complete BLAST-On training and receive software access, you must successfully complete all four steps:Pre-work consisting of seven self-paced, online modules—To access the pre-work, create anaccount on the Lutron Learning Management System: lutron.com/lcionline.After creating your account and receiving validation (this can take between 24-48 hours), log in tolutron.com/lcionline and click on Learning Plans. Enroll in the “LP 620 - RadioRA® 2 BLAST-On Training” byclicking on the green plus sign to the right of the course.The plus sign to the left of the course will expand the window to show the pre-work modules. Pre-workmodules will become active as you complete each one in sequence. The modules must be completedbefore attending the Capstone webinar component and taking the online exam.Note: The final exam will include questions from each module. We recommend taking notes and/orreferencing the modules during the exam.A 2½-hour live Capstone webinar to review the RadioRA 2 programming software—A link toregister for the Capstone webinar will be unlocked after the pre-work modules are complete.Note: We recommend taking notes during the Capstone and using resources mentioned when taking thefinal exam.An online exam—Upon completion of the Capstone webinar, log back in to lutron.com/lcionline and take theEX 102 BLAST-On exam. Participants must achieve an 80% or higher in order to pass the exam. There is amaximum of three attempts to pass. A Lutron representative will contact you if additional assistance is required.Remember: You can refer to the pre-work modules or your notes from the modules or Capstone at any time.Purchase of a RadioRA 2 foundation package (RR-FDN-INC-WH or RR-FDN-ADAPT-WH) orother RadioRA 2 products of equivalent value—This purchase is required to complete BLAST-On.Submit an invoice from your local distributor to RA2BLASTOn@lutron.com.Once your invoice has been processed, you will be pre-registered for myLutron*, where you canaccess the RadioRA 2 Essentials software, sales tools, online instructional videos, and more.*Currently, only BLAST-On graduates in the U.S. and Canada will gain access to myLutron.
