World Ministry Advance (WMA) exists to fulfill the mission of 

the Church of God reformation movement through partnering 

with its congregations, ministries, programs, and people—as 

well as the people of God around the world. The 

WMA department coordinates the fundraising efforts of 

Church of God Ministries to ensure funding of the General 

Assembly’s World Ministries Budget. The WMA staff assists 

individual donors and congregations by offering resources for 

their stewardship needs.

The Living Link program is the heart of the Global Missions ministry partnership 

with the church. This partnership enables Church of God missionaries to go into the 

world to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ. 

The Project Link program enables donor congregations and individuals to connect 

with important missional projects that are directly connected with essential and vital 

needs around the globe. Project Link continues to mature and expand opportunities 

for relational connection through mission project endeavors. Project Link is a 

self-supporting program with all the essential support services included. Project fund 

goals include a support fee of 8 percent for all projects except for approved educational 

institutions and approved capital projects, which carry a 4 percent support fee. These 

excepted projects are marked with an asterisks (*) throughout the Gift-Giving Guide. 

Educational institutions are theological schools that serve a region or have a project 

budget of more than $10,000 annually. Capital projects are new building projects with 

project budgets of $50,000 or more that have a beginning and ending timeline date. 

The goal of Global Missions is to have every Church of God congregation in the 

United States and Canada linked together in a commitment of support for our 

strategic missions outreach program. 

Contribution Reminder: Contributions to Church of God Ministries are under CGM’s full discretion 

and control as required by IRS regulations. Funds distributed, as allowed by the IRS, will be used 

in compliance with donor intent.
