RF-7800VVHF Tactical Radiosassuredcommunications ®

RF-7800V-HHHandheld VHF Tactical RadioThe Falcon III ® 7800V VHF Combat Net Radio (CNR) enables forces to communicate more information, with greater speed and reliability—all crucial to achieving information superiority on the battlefield. The RF-7800V combines performance and flexibility unlike any other VHF combat net radio availablein a platform that’s highly portable and easy to use. Commanders get access to advanced real-timesituational information that enables them to make faster, more informed decisions. The RF-7800V-HH is the next evolution of the Falcon II ® VHF radios adding advanced networkingcapabilities, while retaining the quality and reliable communicationsdemonstrated by over 150,000 units fielded worldwide.• 30MHz – 108MHz• Military-Grade Frequency Hopping• Base Station Support• TDMA Waveform• Direct USB and Ethernet connectivity• Dual Net PTT• High Capacity, Lithium Ion Battery• Intergrated GPS• Intuitive, Soft-Key Keypad

RF-7800V-V50XPower Amplifier for the RF-7800V-HH VHF RadioThe RF-7800V-V50x provides a vehicular mounting and power amplification option forthe RF-7800V-HH radio. The amplifier provides full 50W amplification from 30 to 108 MHz.Integrated into the amplifier is a hopping collocation filter for the 30 to 108 MHz to provideenhanced collocation performance in demanding RF environments. The amplifier is designedto meet MIL-STD-810F requirements. The RF-7800V-V50x operates from nominal 28 VDCvehicle battery power.Features include:• Passive and user initiated BIT• Integrated Handheld battery charger• VIC-3 and RF-7800I interface• Integrated Heatsink for extended-use duty cycles• Built-in remote KDU interface• 5W, 20W, and 50W user selectable power output• Jerk-and-Run capability• Radio, antennas, and other ancillary equipment arenot included with the amplifier

“X” = Available color of radio and amplifier: 1 = Green ■ 2 = Black ■ 3 = Tan ■RF-7800V-V51XVehicular / Base VHF Radio SystemThe RF-7800V-V51x 50 Watt VHF radio takes the outstanding performance and features of theRF-7800V-HH radio and RF-7800V-V50X 50 watt VAU and combines the two into one small-formfactorhigh-powered VHF radio. This high-powered radio is specifically designed for vehicularand base station applications that desire the smallest possible footprint over jerk-n-run capabilities. The Vehicular Radios provides a full 50 watts from 30 to 108 MHz. The radio also provides improvedRF and Co-site performance over traditional non-integrated VHF solutions. The RF-7800V-V51xis designed to meet MIL-STD-810F requirements and can be hard mounted in most installations. The vehicular radio provides a user inferface and display identical to the RF-7800V-HH. Both theRF-7800V-V51x and RF-7800V-HH share the same suite of accessories which reduces costs andshare a common feature set which reduces training time.Features include:• All interfaces built-in• Hub battery to maintain ToD synchronization• 5W, 20W, and 50W user selectable power output• Integrated heat sink for extended-use duty cycles• Built-in remote KDU interface• Built-in RF-7800V-HH Keypad/Display Unit

RF-7800VGeneral FEatures• 30-108 MHz Frequency BandThe ability to use a wide continuous frequencyband greatly simplifies the task of frequencyallocation for critical missions.• 10 Watts Output Power*Ideal for long-range communications andreliability in close combat. When channelconditions require extra power output todeliver messages or voice traffic.• 192 kbps IP data*Data throughput that gives users the fastestVHF HH data capabilities for fast largefile transmission and mission critical/time sensitiveinformation sharing.• Embedded Harris TAC-CHAT IP ApplicationRemoves need for external PC/PDA devicesfor transmission of text and data to otherTAC-CHAT IP clients.• BMS Waveform*Providing real-time Battle ManagementSystem information for multiple radios/clientssimultaneously.• TELEPHONY / RF-6010 Base Station**Allows the radio to be directly connected toa RF-6010 and support multi-in telephonyoperations.• Free Channel SearchIdeal for operations that require frequency agilityin an high-noise or radio-jamming environment.• Dual PTTProvided dual net communications whenoperating in a single channel.• Built-in GPS ReceiverProvides locations information and allows forshared situational awareness amongst teammembers and commanders.• Remote KDU supportIdeal for the dismounted and mountedconfigurations; where front panel operationsare needed but not practical from the radioitself.• Direct USB and LAN ConnectivityProvides the end user an ability to directlyconnect USB and IP devices to the radio.Reducing the need for a PC/Data Terminal tocontrol message traffic or data packages.• Data and built-in Tactical Internet ProtocolcapabilitySoftware data applications can be connectedto the RF-7800V-HH for sending emails, chatmessages, images, and situational awareness.• QuickLook IA/II III ECCMA true military grade ECCM solution that is alsoeasy to use. Provides covert communications andrenders enemy radio-jamming devices ineffective.• Rugged Tactical Radio DesignThe RF-7800V-HH is able to withstand harshmilitary environments and continue to provideeffective, reliable communications.• Military-Grade CustomizableCitadel II ® and AES EncryptionSecures communications against any adversary.• User Intuitive InterfaceThe Man-Machine-Interface has been designedto reduce training time and improve operationalcapabilities of the user.• FALCON II ® InteroperabilityAllowing FII and FIII radios to communicate andshare data seemlessly and reliably.• 50W VHF Power AmplifierFurther increases the range in either base stationor vehicular configurations.• Voice Over IP Capability**Support making phone calls to/from IP basephones connected to an Asterisk or CiscoCall Manager VoIP PBX system.* Advanced Software: RF-7800V-SW002(Optional)**Advanced + Telephony Software: RF-7800V-SW003 (Optional)
