Walterová, D., Bendová, Š., Kabourková, K.: Population Ageing 65– Extending mid-length of the life (it extended for 4 years in the last15 years, and it is suggested that it will extend for a year per everyother six years),– Growth of the elderly rate on the total population (proportion ofpeople aged over 60 years should have increased in the following 50years from the present 20% to more than 35%, the trend at peopleaged over 80 years should have been even far more fiercer, and thatfrom the present less than 5 % to almost 15 % in 2065,– Growth of a number of pensioners under the present decrease ofa number of economically active people.• Basic pension insurance is, in particular, as a result of expected demographicdevelopment, financially unsustainable in terms of a long-period(cumulative debt will reach approximately 50% of the GDP by 2050, andnearly approx 250% of the GDP by 2100).SubmittedChangesThe following is proposed in the first stage of the public pension reform, inparticular:a) To follow on the process of a gradual raising of the retirement age up to 65years for men and women (such a targeted condition should be completedin 2030 for men and between 2030 - 2043 for women based on the fact,whether they had or had not children),b) To extend a necessary period of insurance applicable to the generation ofthe entitlement to the old-age pension to 35 years of insurance (includinga compensatory period of insurance), or to the period of 30 years ofinsurance (regardless compensatory periods of insurance),c) To cancel the period of a study after the 18th years of age gained after theeffective day of this provision as the compensatory period of insurance,d) To introduce a possibility of a parallel run of a half of the old-age pensionwith the earned income with an option to convert such a pension,e) To introduce a three-stage disability,Stages of disability according to the decline of working abilities will be thefollowing:• Degree of decline minimum about 30% and maximum about 49%• Degree of decline minimum about 50% and maximum about 69%• Degree of decline minimum about 70%
