Our History

Addresses

The Stöbich Brandschutz Company was founded in Goslar/Germany

in 1980. With the patented idea of a fire protection closure for conveyor

systems the young company succeeded in making a generation leap

for maximum fire protection safety. The construction allows for more

than 70 officially approved solutions. The system can be adapted

economically to all conveyor systems. 25 years – and already the most

experienced and most innovative company in the market.

A safe and effective closing technology was developed to be an integral

system with the conveyor system. The Stöbich fire protection closure

paved its way in this field with safety features such as surveillance,

power supply and clearing technology integrated into the concept of

partition.

The development of smoke barriers in addition to smoke and fire

protection closures initiated another multi-innovative fire protection

generation.

Even more proximity to the customer and a faster supply were the

reasons for establishing the branch in the South of Germany – in

Bopfingen in 1990. A complete service from consulting to

manufacturing and maintenance is offered here as well as in the branch

in the East of Germany – in Halle/Queis, founded in 1992. In 2001 the

production site and therefore the production capacity in the branch

North (headquarter) was doubled. In 2004 the West/Kamen branch

was openend.

Nine national and more than 25 international representations guarantee

a quick and competent customer service.

These special requirements are defined in specific norms.

This is accepted in Germany currently to DIN 4102 and Standards for

fire protection closures of track bound conveying systems.

In the future this will be accepted by the European Norm EN-1366-7.
