ChildFind applies to children who attend public and private schoolswithin the <strong>Vestavia</strong> <strong>City</strong> limits, including children attendingreligious schools, highly mobile children with disabilities (i.e.migrant and homeless) and children who are suspected ofhaving a disability and are in need of special education eventhough they are advancing from grade to grade.Early intervention agencies and Public School SpecialEducation Services work closely with community serviceagencies and parents to locate children with disabilities frombirth through age 21.
