E-BUSINESS SURVEYS 2007e-Business in Service Sectors: Retail, Transport & LogisticsAnother survey of 2007 focused on the retail, transport and logisticsservices sectors. In total, about 2,100 companies (including firms of allsize-bands) from these sectors in 7 EU countries (France, Germany, Italy,Poland, Spain, Sweden and the UK) and the USA were interviewed abouttheir e-business usage 2 . The following charts present some of the results."Companies representing more than 30% of employment in the retail and transportservices industries said that "most" or "a good deal" of their business processeswere conducted electronically; close to 50% said that this was the case for some oftheir processes."e-Commerce in the retail sectorMore than half of all retail companies usee-business in exchanges with theirsuppliers.
