After ultrasounddata is processed, we send itback to the owner of the animal(s).If summary data is to be sent toparties other than an owner of theanimal(s): example, e-mail or fax toa bull test manager, sales manager, etc. please be sure that specialinstructions be sent to the lab wherethe data will be processed. The labwill include those instructions in ane-mail to the National Office withdata. Barnsheets may also beobtained via the website, onceresults have been returned to theRAAA office you may also accessthose via the website atwww.redangus.org.REMINDERS...■ The Rules and Regulationsrequire a donor dam and servicesire used for embryo transplant beon file in the National Office asbeing typed (not parent verified).Parent verification of embryo transplantcalves is not required.■ Many breeders question why 'H'is not available on RRTS as a possiblereg-type, like 'R' or 'I'. A regtypeof H is assigned by the computerwhen processing data where acalf is out of a non-owned sire. Wedo not include the 'H' as a possiblereg-type because calves should notbe put 'on hold' if the sire owner isthe same as the dam owner at thetime of breeding. If you have calvesto be reported and DO NOT wantnon-owner bull permits applied atthat time (if they are available inyour inventory) then sendINSTRUCTIONS with your data toindicate that NON-OWNER BULLPERMITS SHOULD NOT BEAPPLIED AT THIS TIME.Therefore, list the calves at an 'R'status when submitting information. We will not apply the AI certificates.■ If calves are put on hold fornonowner bull permits at the timeinformation is processed, it will bethe member's responsibility toeither apply the permits andUltrasoundProcessing LabsNational Cup Lab and TechnologyCenterPO Box 627 413 Kellogg AvenueAmes, IA 50010-0627Phone: 515-232-9442Fax: 515-232-9578cuplab@cuplab.comwww.cuplab.comNational Cup Lab and TechnologyCenter accepts images from the "old"and "new" Aloka, and the Classic 200.Mark Henry is the lab manager.Processing fees are $4 per head.UltraInsights Processing Lab1767 210th AvenueDiagonal, IA 50845Phone: 641-464-2310Fax: 641-464-2193www.uicuplab.comBecky Hays is the owner and lab manager.Processing fees are $4 per head.International Livestock ImageAnalysis (ILIA)4594 Union RdHarrison, AR 72601Phone: 870-743-3440Fax: 870-743-9682sherryp@ilialab.comIlia accepts images from the Aloka 500-V, the "new" Aloka, and Blackbox.
