Thus,SHMS-UC graduates gain a highly esteemed UK qualificationstudied at a Swiss hotel school in addition to theirSwiss qualification!Independent StudyAfter completing Academic term 6, students will be given6 weeks to complete their dissertation, during which timesupervision will be provided on a distance-learning basis.Students have however the option to stay on campusduring this six week period.This module provides the student with the opportunity towork independently on a specific project of a particularinterest to them. It is this module, which enables thestudent to gain an honours degree. The focus is studentcentred learning with students owning the responsibilityto drive the project forward.Direct Entry RequirementsUoD welcomes direct entries into the final term of theBA (Hons) programme at SHMS.
