The Certificate III in Hairdressing allows you to fast track your hairdressing career in under a year. Completing your Certificate III in Hairdressing will give you all the skills you need to finish your hairdressing qualification and gain a job within the industry. This course covers all the basics required in the Nationally Recognised Package Certificate III in Hairdressing and then builds on those skills with Pivot Point’s unique training methods, making your qualification recognised in over 70 countries! Pivot Point uses a designers approach to hairdressing, developing skills in creative fashion cutting, sculpting, design and fashion colour. The Concepts require you to learn the basic principles and terminology for hair and you’ll discover why the fundamentals are imperative. The systems allow you to build on the concepts with a focus on commercial looks whilst the classics teach you to create any style imaginable by using a simple cut as the base to achieve the latest fashion styles. The Pivot Point Package also includes access to multi-lingual DVDs which you can watch in class or in your own time to revise what you’ve learnt. This course consists of three parts: Concepts, Systems & Classics. You will gain skills, confidence and a passion to succeed after your year at BSH. When graduating you’ll be prepared for the workforce and be able to take your skills into any salon around the world. Some hairdressers wish to specialise in certain areas - become an expert colourist or platform artist. Certificate IV in Hairdressing will help you achieve your dreams. This 32 week course is available for students who have already completed Certificate III in Hairdressing with industry experience. This course is designed to reignite the passion of hairdressing helping to take career qualifications to the next level. Learning things such as make-up, hair extensions, colour corrective services or working as a session stylist, your Certificate IV will complete your hairdressing education. This course will give you the edge over other hairdressers and help you take your skills above and beyond. *Ask about our group discounts to complete your Certificate IV in Hairdressing. This course may also be completed via correspondence by applying prior learning credits and submitting portfolio work. Correspondence students will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
