Using the Trade Site (for Administrators)

1. User Types

To give you greater control of your account with Jetstar the trade site has two user types:

Administrators

o In addition to the access of Normal Users you can:

� Update Organisation Details

� Enrol new Agent ID’s

� Suspend Agent ID’s

� Change/reset passwords

� Check AG Credit Limit (if applicable)

� Request Monthly reporting (AU/NZ/US only)

• Normal Users

o Make new bookings

o Apply payment using Credit Card, AG (if applicable)

o Retrieve/Manage bookings

o Request support

You can quickly determine if you are an Administrator if you have access to the Manage Account tab

in the navigation bar.

2. Logging into the Jetstar Trade Site

1) To login into the Jetstar Trade Site visit www.jetstar.com/agents

2) Enter your Username (Agent ID) and Password

a. If you have forgotten your password click the Forgot Password link

3) Click on Go

3. Trade Site Home Page

You are directed to our Trade Home Page where you will find important messages, information and

quick links.

From the home page you can access other sections of the site.

4. Manage Organisation Details

This page enables you to update your Organisation details with Jetstar such as;

Contact details

• Name/Address/Email/Contact Number/s

Organization Details

• Trading name

• ABN/GST number (Australia/New Zealand Only)

• Travel Agent Licence Number

Banking Details

• Account Name

• Branch Name

• Account Number

• BSB/Routing number

• Account type

As the administrator you are responsible for keeping your account details up-to-date. Please ensure

to review and update this information when your details change.

Please Note: During the booking process your postal address and contact phone numbers are

derived from the information below. (Email address and Contact Name are derived from your agent

profile).

5. Enrolling A New Agent

1) Go to “Manage Account” and select “Enrol New Agent”. You will then be required to fill out the

form.

2) Read and if you accept our Terms and Conditions tick the box.

3) Press Register Agent.

4) For security reasons new agents will not be automatically activated. Once the registration is

complete, please activate the agent. To do this navigate to Agent List (which is located under

Manage Account)

5) Search for the specific Agent ID or just click Find Agents to retrieve all

6) Once you have found the agent, their status will be “Pending” click on “Edit” to change this.

7) Change the “Agent Status” to Active and save the changes

NOTE: You can also suspend/terminate accounts in this section.

6. Manage Agents

In this section the Administrator can:

• Manage Organisation Details

• Enrol New Agent ID’s

• Agent List – review all agent ID’s associated with your organisation

• Manage My Agent Profile – update your Agent ID information

To access an Agent ID profile to amend its details:

• Navigate to Manage Agents located under the Manage Account section

Enter the agent name and click “Find Agents”

• Search for the specific Agent ID OR leave blank and click Find Agents to retrieve all.

• Next to the relevant Agent ID click Edit to open their profile

6.1. Updating Agent contact details

• Once you have entered the Agent ID profile overwrite any fields and press Update Agent.

6.2. Terminating an Agent ID

• To terminate an account go to Agent Status and change the field to Terminated. Then press

update Agent

6.3. Unlock an Agent

An Agent ID will lock if their password is repeatedly entered incorrectly. The following error will then

appear on the login page: “Your username has been locked because your password was repeatedly

entered incorrectly…”

• To unlock an Agent Untick the “Locked” box next to Agent Status. Then press Update Agent.

NB: You may need to change their password if they’ve forgotten it. Follow below to do this

6.4. Change an Agent password

• Tick “Change Password” and enter a new password. Then press Update Agent

NB: The password must be 8-12 characters and contain one UPPER case and a number

Please note: It is important that you communicate any password changes to your colleagues,

otherwise your fellow team members will relock the account.

7. Manage Administrator Details

• Go to “Manage Account” and click “Manage Administrator Details”

• As per section 6 you can update your Password & Contact details

8. My Bookings

The Jetstar Trade Site lets Administrators and Normal Users access bookings created under your

Organisation code across various channels. For example if you make a booking via the API. GDS, or

Trade Site it will appear under My Bookings.

Edit:

• If available, you can only Edit future dated bookings created via the Trade Site & API. Future

Dated means departure is more than 24 hours away and the first sector in the booking has

not Departed, Checked in or No Showed. To cancel a booking you must contact Jetstar.

Resend Itinerary:

• An itinerary can only be resent if the booking is fully paid and has not been cancelled. The

itinerary will be resent to the email address in the booking. To change this you must contact

Jetstar

Cancelled Bookings:

• Cancelled bookings can be retrieved but you not edited. Note that no sector information will

appear as they have been deleted. Cancelled bookings appear under Completed Travel.

Pending Bookings:

• Pending means the booking is on hold because payment was not successful. Note travel is

not confirmed so please contact Jetstar.

8.2. Resending an itinerary

You no longer need to call our Contact Centre* to have an itinerary resent. We have simplified this

process by enabling this functionality online.

To resend an itinerary click on

“Resend Itinerary

Once the itinerary is sent you will receive a

pop-up notification

* Please note if you wish to send the itinerary to an alternate email address please call our Contact

Centre.
