non-adhesive forms. French or English.<br />

Prohibitions:<br />

Bees, leeches, silkworms, parasites and<br />

destroyers of harmful insects; cancelled or<br />

uncancelled postage stamps, and stamp<br />

collections sent to private persons, corrected<br />

proofs and printed matter with marked words<br />

or phrases; documents, printed matter,<br />

photographs, pictures and so on likely to be<br />

construed as prejudicial to the views of the<br />

Republic of Georgia; explosives and<br />

combustible and other dangerous<br />

substances; immoral articles or materials;<br />

letters may not contain documents having<br />

the character of current and personal<br />

correspondence exchanged between<br />

persons other than the sender and the<br />

addressee or persons living with them, live<br />

animals; local and foreign currency,<br />

banknotes, travellers’ cheques and other<br />

valuable documents; military weapons and<br />

firearms, ammunition, cartridges; narcotics,<br />

psychotropic substances, hormonal and<br />

blood preparations; perishable biological<br />

substances; platinum, gold and silver, and<br />

articles thereof; precious stones, articles of<br />

jewellery and other valuable articles;<br />

radioactive substances; tear gas and nerve<br />

gas, and the weapons adapted for their use;<br />

written messages (other than brief<br />

information about the contents) sent by<br />

Restrictions:<br />

Apply to the importation of: Books,<br />

newspapers, magazines, other printed<br />

papers and manuscripts (one copy of each<br />

kind only) are admitted after inspection by<br />

the appropriate authorities; engravings,<br />

maps and musical scores (not more than<br />

one copy of each kind); fashion plates (one<br />

copy only) unless sent through the printed<br />

papers service; items under wrapper<br />

containing scientific and technical reference<br />

material unless sent by libraries or firms to<br />

State libraries, trade unions, scientific<br />

organization and so on; toxic substances<br />

and medical preparations unless with the<br />

authorisation of the Ministry of Health. See<br />
