<strong>Job</strong> <strong>Shadow</strong> Fact Sheet:1. Come to the Career Center for a packet2. Find a place to shadow3. Fill out a request to shadow approval form, get necessary signatures and turn intoCareer Center4. After shadow site is OK’d, fill out and have teachers sign the offcampus/attendance pre-approval-You must be passing ALL classes in order to jobshadow. Parent must also sign this form5. Set up time with Ms. LaFortune in the Career Center to use WOIS to prepare withquestions6. Go to your shadow site! Don’t forget to ask the questions you have prepared!Have your job shadow reflection sheet with you, with the top portion filled out forthe supervisor at the site to sign7. Fill out answers to your questions and your reflection sheet-these will be put intoyour archive portfolio8. Write a thank you letter, turn into Ms. LaFortune (who will mail it for you) andwill sign off for your community service hours!


Things to remember when preparing for your job shadow:Be on time! Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes earlyProfessional AppearanceDress appropriately for the site you are visiting.
