Born Oct. 4, 1919 in Bethelem Township, Cass County, she was the daughter of Arthur and Icil ChampBassler. She was married Dec. 12, 1938, in Claypool, Ind. to her husband of 65 years, Howard M. Phillips. He preceded her indeath Feb. 3, 2003. A 1937 graduate of Twelve Mile High School, Donnabell was a homemaker. She was self-employed indomestic work in Logansport for 39 years and then volunteered at Miller's Merry Manor for eight years. While there, she wonseveral trophies and awards for her efforts. Donnabell was a 70-year member of Spring Creek Christian Church where she hadtaught Sunday School for 10 years. She also served as church treasurer for several years. In 1999, she moved to <strong>Peru</strong> andbecame a member of the First Church of Christ. Surviving are son, Ronald Phillips and his wife, Clara of <strong>Peru</strong>; twograndchildren, Greg Phillips, of Lafayette, and Robert Phillips, of <strong>Peru</strong>; great-grandchild, Brandon Phillips, of <strong>Peru</strong>; nephew,Ken Bassler and his wife Sharon, of Carmel; niece, Melissa Bassler of Fort Wayne; one great-nephew, Chris Bassler of FortWayne; 16 step-grandchildren, 16 step-great-grandchildren; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by an infant son,Curtis Dale Phillips; one brother Chester Bassler; and one sister, Maridean Fitz. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday,Dec. 10, <strong>2011</strong> in the First Church of Christ, 2584 South Business 31, <strong>Peru</strong>, with Minister Shane Capps officiating. Brown, 82, of Mexico, passed away at 8:34 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, <strong>2011</strong> at St. Joseph Hospital in Kokomo. He wasborn Aug. 29, 1929 in Bedford, Ky. to Hurley and Bessie (McClure) Brown, deceased. On June 26, 1948 he married Betty B.Brooks and she survives. Glen was retired from Brown's Sanitation and Engineering. When he was younger, Glen was an avidhunter and fisherman. Survivors in addition to his wife Betty, are three sons: Randy (Ruby) Brown of Mexico; Roger (Marcia)Brown, <strong>Peru</strong>; Daniel (Peggy) Brown, <strong>Peru</strong>; daughters Carla Williams, Mexico; Kim (Denny) McGuire, Mexico; and Kelli(Allen) Stuber, of Bunker Hill. He also had 13 grandchildren, Scott, Beth, Joni, Matt, Christy, Charity, Tera, Stacey, Dennis,Shane, Cody, Blair and Danielle; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters - SylviaBrown and Jean Brown. He was born June 22,1964 in Grand Forks, N.D. to the late Earl Vinton and Deana Luella Null Brewer. On July 28, 1984 he married Diana MarieSee, and she survives. Dan loved spending time with his family, especially his children and granddaughter. He also lovedHarley Davidson motorcycles. Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Jason Daniel Brewer and his fiancé BettyBurgess, along with their daughter Kara Love Brewer, Denver; Kyle Lee Brewer, <strong>Peru</strong>; and Jordan Lynn Brewer, <strong>Peru</strong>; onebrother, Dennis Brewer and his wife Nicki, Whiteland; two sisters, Bonnie Sue Luna and her husband Mario, Wichita, Kansas;and Linda Pencek and her husband Allen, Ellsworth, Illinois; and his dog, Pepper.
