She was born in <strong>Peru</strong> on June 9, 1923 toHarvey L. and Edyth V. (Miller) Harris Clark. She married Joseph A. Tate, Feb. 14, 1942 and he preceded her in death Dec. 1,2010. Almeda was a homemaker. She is survived by daughters Madeline K. (husband John) Korth, Ulster Park, N.Y., Lisa T.(husband Robert) Narod, Herndon, Va., son Dennis K. Tate, Upper Darby, Pa. and a sister, Margaret Benedict, Jonesboro. Alsosurviving are eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by herparents, three brothers and two sisters. A funeral service will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery Chapel at 2 p.m. Sunday, May29, <strong>2011</strong> with the Rev. Born February 29, 1912 in Mexico, she wasthe daughter of Lyman Earl Sr. and Grace Edith Shilling McGuire. On April 25, 1937 at the Twelve Mile United MethodistChurch Parsonage, she was married to Floyd D. Green, and he passed away on November 27, 2003. She was a member of theTwelve Mile United Methodist Church for over 70 years. She was Past Matron and was a 50 year member of the former VashtiChapter, Order of the Easter Star, Mexico. Guinevere retired as Postmaster of the Twelve Mile Post Office in 1976. She issurvived by one son, Robert N. Green, Twelve Mile; one brother, Lyman E. McGuire, Jr. and his wife Rachel, Denver; onesister, Joan Shoemaker, Denver; one sister-in-law, Maxine Hegel, Wabash; and several nieces and nephews. She was precededin death by an infant son, Larry Alan Green and one brother Wayne McGuire. Robertson, 64, <strong>Peru</strong>, passed away at 12:32 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, <strong>2011</strong> at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne. He wasborn in Decatur, Ill. on May 8, 1947 to Dale and Alice (Taylor) Robertson. He graduated from Maroa-Forsyth High School in1965, served in the U.S. Air Force, and was retired. Lynn is survived by his children, son Brian Robertson (wife Brook), <strong>Peru</strong>,daughter Michelle Jones (husband Greg), Fort Wayne, grandson Trevor Robertson, <strong>Peru</strong>, granddaughter Emma Jones, FortWayne, and grandson Riley Jones, Fort Wayne. Also surviving is a brother Joe Robertson (wife Carol), Decatur, Ill. He lovedautomobiles, drag racing, Nascar and all other cars. He loved sports teams – the Bears, Cubs, and anything IU. He was an avidgolfer who loved hitting the links. He enjoyed seeing his grandchildren participate in sports of all kinds. His grandchildrenwere important to him. Kreutzer, 89, <strong>Peru</strong>, passed away at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 27, <strong>2011</strong> at Miller’s Merry Manor Nursing Home,<strong>Peru</strong>. He was born in <strong>Peru</strong> on Jan. 31, 1922 the son of Jacob A. and Anna Rhein Kreutzer. Dr. Kreutzer married RobertaBowling at the Cathedral of the Assumption in Louisville, Ky. on January 24, 1948 and she survives. Dr. Kreutzer studied predentistryat St. Joseph College and Indiana University. He was a 1946 graduate of the University of Louisville School ofDentistry and did his internship at Louisville General Hospital. He entered into private practice in Logansport, and practicedthere until 1951 when he entered the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He remained on active duty in the Air Force untilhis retirement in as a Lt. Colonel in 1972. Dr. Joe, as he was fondly called by most <strong>Peru</strong>vians, was a member of the Knights ofColumbus, a Life Member of VFW Post #2067, a Life Member of the American Legion Glen Owens Post #14, a member of
