He was born in <strong>Peru</strong> on Jan. 31, 1922 the son of Jacob A. and Anna Rhein Kreutzer. Dr. Kreutzer married RobertaBowling at the Cathedral of the Assumption in Louisville, Ky. on January 24, 1948 and she survives. Dr. Kreutzer studied predentistryat St. Joseph College and Indiana University. He was a 1946 graduate of the University of Louisville School ofDentistry and did his internship at Louisville General Hospital. He entered into private practice in Logansport, and practicedthere until 1951 when he entered the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He remained on active duty in the Air Force untilhis retirement in as a Lt. Colonel in 1972. Dr. Joe, as he was fondly called by most <strong>Peru</strong>vians, was a member of the Knights ofColumbus, a Life Member of VFW Post #2067, a Life Member of the American Legion Glen Owens Post #14, a member of
the American Dental Association and a member of the Retired Air Force Officers Association. Surviving in addition to hiswife Roberta is a sister Virginia Klug of Toledo, Ohio.
