He was a member of the <strong>Peru</strong> Moose Lodge, and wasretired from the Miami County Highway Department. She was a proud member of the Richland Center High School, graduating with her class in 1948. Justmore than two years later in Fulton, on June 11, 1950, Dorothy married her best friend and love of her life, George W. Bixler.Their marriage spanned nearly 56 years until his unexpected passing on March 10, 2006. Dorothy is lovingly remembered byher sister, Grace Marie Miller, Rochester; three brothers, Kenneth Brown, Rochester, John Brown and wife Neva, Russell, Ky.,and Max Brown and wife Deloris, Lake Palestine; and many nieces and nephews.
