Lucy will be working withSLU chemistry pr<strong>of</strong>essor Dr. Dana Baum for six weeks. Atthe end <strong>of</strong> the program, students present the findings <strong>of</strong> theirresearch at the Touhill Performing Art Center on the UMSLcampus.Saint Joan <strong>of</strong> Arc Catholic School’s fifth grade language artsclasses celebrated Poetry Month in April by decorating their playground with some<strong>of</strong> their favorite verses. <strong>St</strong>udents and visitors enjoyed reading the poems duringrecess. Thestudent council presented a check for$1,000 to Triston’s family at a recentassembly to help <strong>of</strong>fset the family’smounting medical bills.Triston, himself was the surprise guest<strong>of</strong> honor at the assembly, accompaniedby his mom, dad and brothers, <strong>No</strong>lanand Bennett.
