We are off to a great 2013 and before we know it, we will beright back to the holidays and another end of the year. There is always something constantly going on at Eldoradoand some items can get confusing. So, I wanted to summarizethe Chairman’s Cabinet to make sure that everyonehad a good understanding. This is one of the things we doat Eldorado to help make sure we stay FWWL (Full with waitlist). It is one of the best ways to keep our club healthy andallows us to spend dollars when in some other cases wouldnot get spent. There are only so many ways we can do this, since we are a membership by invitation only country club. So, here is what the Chairman’s Cabinet is really all about.Every year there will be a selection of 100 members that willbe asked to sponsor in a new member. If you choose not tosponsor a new member in that is perfectly fine. Just makesure that you send the invitation back to management andlet them know that you would not like to participate. Thisyear you will see that the invitations will be sent quarterlyand 25 people will be selected to participate each quarter. This is done so that the Cabinet can help assist our membersin this little endeavor. You are also able to sponsor a member during an off year sothat you can be added into the rotation. This ensures thatall members are able to utilize their invitation. Once that invitationis used/ sent back you will not be asked for yourhelp for an addition 4 years. It’s kind of like being drawn forjury duty. The difference is you don’t have to sit in a room allday and not get picked. You get to do this from the luxury ofyour home.Below are the benefits to having a healthy club and why weask members to help:-Ability to keep the dues low compared to other clubs in thearea with less than a full roster-Things get fixed faster around the club-The ability to keep the activities, events, and facilities attheir best-The ability to compensate and attract the “best of thebest” staffHopefully that clears it up a bit, but if you have any morequestions I would be happy to answer them individually ifneeded. I look forward to 2013 and I amhonored to be president of the best clubin Texas! Thanks,Todd HallFebruary is here and we have lots of funplanned for you. We will be hosting aSuper Bowl watching party, Valentine’sDinner Dance and of course our MonthlyMember Mixer just to name a few. Marchis right around the corner and with thatthe first signs of Spring. We promiseto have an action packed calendar forthe whole family to enjoy!!
