QUESTIONNAIRE best practices and existing ... - Q-AGEING project

Q-AGEING: quality ageing in an urban environment4. POLICIES AND STRATEGIESThe project will review existing or planned strategies and policies on quality ageing across Q-AGEING partner regions. A first step is to collect existing policies and strategies in local/regionallevel.In some cases you might not find any local/regional policies/strategies on quality ageing, butthere might be national policies/strategies for quality ageing or for urban environment andpublic services including action plans on ageing problems. If so, it would be of great benefit forthe project to get information about these policies/strategies and action plans. Each municipality project partner and PP9 is requested to provide at least 2 local/regionalpolicies/strategies on promoting quality ageing: one under the topic of public services andanother linked to urban environment. The next step will be to review strategies and policies onquality ageing on EU level. Each knowledge provider partner (PP4, PP8 and PP9) istherefore requested to provide at least 2 policies/strategies on EU level promoting qualityageing: one under the topic of public services and another linked to urban environment.5. METHODS FOR SELECTIONThanks to the above reviews we hope to be able to collect the success factors for quality ageingand find best practice/intervention and policies and strategies on different levels. The reviewwill be made by the project partners in the participant countries (Germany, Hungary, Italy,Poland and Slovenia), but we welcome also other examples to promote quality ageing. Please duplicate the questionnaires according the number of the selected practices andpolicies/strategies.The examples of best practice and policies/strategies we receive from you will be reviewed byThe Appraisal Expert Panel (AEP) of the project. Following that, the LP will summarize theresults in a draft report which will be discussed in the transnational Q-Ageing working group. The jointly developed document of selected best practices will be published on the projectwebsite and in newsletters. The approach to collect best practices and policies/strategies can vary, but you definitely shouldcontact the members of the relevant SRP as key stakeholders in the area of quality ageing andalso involve the main institutions. The methods used to collect and select best practice andpolicies/strategies should be clearly described.6
