Unless otherwise noted, all auction certificates must beredeemed by December 31, 2013. Sales Tax Alameda County Sales Tax at a rate of8.75% will apply to all tangible goods (i.e. not gift certificates or travel packages).A NOTE ON DEDUCTIONS: For Federal Income Tax purposes, your purchase of anauction item is deductible as a charitable donation only to the extent that the amount paidexceeds the fair market value of the goods or services received. The auction donors andthe California Shakespeare Theater have made a good faith estimate of the fair marketvalue of each auction item.
