The Trust wasable to continue its Loss Control IncentiveProgram into 2011 which allows membersto earn credits, up to five percent, towardstheir next year’s contributions to the trust.The Loss Control Incentive Programbegan in 2009 to recognize the annual losscontrol activities conducted within eachmember entity. Properly implementedloss control activities, such as education,development <strong>of</strong> policies and proceduresand timely reporting, can help reduce thecosts <strong>of</strong> unemployment charges before aseparation even occurs.At its May meeting, the CCAP UC TrustBoard <strong>of</strong> Trustees unanimously agreed torenew its agreement with Mazzitti & SullivanEAP Services, Inc.(Mazzitt & Sullivan).Mazzitti & Sullivan has providedemployee assistance program servicesfor Trust members for 12 years and theservice continues to be well received yearafter year. Through the agreement withMazzitti & Sullivan, all employees from amember entity and anyone residing in theemployee’s household may see a counselorfor up to three sessions per problemsituation at no cost.
