World Challenge expeditionDURING the summer, two groups from <strong>South</strong><strong>Hampstead</strong> took part in the World Challengeexpedition to Costa Rica and Nicaragua.The girls organised their own budgets,transport, accommodation and cookingduring the four phases of the tour, includingexpedition-acclimatisation, project, main trek,and rest and relaxation.Group 1 were involved in helping a churchgroup with renovation work. On their maintrek, they walked across the mostly unspoiltOsa Peninsula in Costa Rica.Group 2 helped at a school in Nicaragua.They built a concrete hopscotch pad, painteda playground and built a cooking shelter.
