Michaelhas 30 years experience in the <strong>NSW</strong>public sector. He has worked inexecutive and senior managementroles in a variety <strong>of</strong> organisationscovering corporate services,commercial operations, facilitymanagement and organisational reformactivities. Prior to joining <strong>Ambulance</strong>he worked with the Government ChiefInformation Office <strong>of</strong> the Department <strong>of</strong>Commerce and with the PowerhouseMuseum.Julie NewmanRN, BHSc (Mgt), ASADirector, Finance and Data <strong>Service</strong>sJulie was seconded to <strong>Ambulance</strong>in July 1999 and appointed to theposition <strong>of</strong> Director, Finance and Data<strong>Service</strong>s in February 2001. He was previously the SeniorOperations Centre Officer at SydneyOperations Centre and has over 29years experience in <strong>Ambulance</strong> havingstarted his career as an ambulance<strong>of</strong>ficer in 1978. Ken has heldoperational management positionsthroughout <strong>NSW</strong> and managed theSydney Operations Centre duringthe relocation to the present site, aswell as during the transition phase tocomputer aided dispatch.Allan LoudfootMBA, Post Grad Dip (Mgt)Divisional Manager,Northern DivisionHES Level 1Allan was appointed as DivisionalManager, Northern Division inMarch 2002. Allan commencedhis ambulance career in the UnitedKingdom (UK) in 1981 as anambulance <strong>of</strong>ficer and became aparamedic in 1987. He held numerouspositions in the UK <strong>Ambulance</strong> <strong>Service</strong>including helicopter paramedic,station <strong>of</strong>ficer, Divisional Commander(Northumbria, North Division),Senior Divisional Officer, North East<strong>Ambulance</strong> <strong>Service</strong> and qualityassurance <strong>of</strong>ficer. He has held operationalmanagement positions includingRegional Superintendent (CentralWestern Region), Deputy DivisionalSuperintendent (Southern Division) andActing Director, Rural <strong>Ambulance</strong>.Denis BeavanBA Health ScienceDivisional Manager,Southern DivisionHES Level 1Denis was appointed DivisionalManager, Southern Division in February2002. His previous positions includeSector Manager, South Eastern Sector,Illawarra and South Eastern Area.Denis has over 30 years experiencein <strong>Ambulance</strong> having started hiscareer as an ambulance <strong>of</strong>ficer in1977. He has held several operationalmanagement positions, includingOperations Centre Coordination,Deputy Superintendent, South EasternDistrict and station manager in ruraland remote areas which involves the<strong>NSW</strong> Snowfield Operations.
