1. SCOPE OF WORK IN THE PROPOSED PROJECT1.1 <strong>Survey</strong> work1.1.1 The entire population of all the unstable locations in the coalfields under theleasehold of BCCL declared as unsafe <strong>for</strong> human habitation by the DGMS andCMPDIL authorities will have to be rehabilitated in some locations as identified inthe Master Plan1.1.2 The work of field survey will have to be carried out in respect of all householdssituated in the identified unstable locations. The list of unstable locations is given inSCHEDULE-A along with the documents. The assigned code no. against eachunstable location as mentioned in this list is to be used as prefix while assigningseriatim House hold Number within that location.1.1.3 The unstable locations are scattered all across the coalfields under the leasehold ofBCCL, Dhanbad.1.1.4 These subsidence prone localities are spread across several urban areas and ruralareas situated in Dhanbad District of Jharkhand.1.1.5 During this field survey an approximate number of 19551 households/families arerequired to be enumerated. But the actual number of Households may vary from thenumber given herein.1.1.6 <strong>Demographic</strong> survey will have to be conducted in respect of each household required tobe rehabilitated as per <strong>for</strong>mat given in SCHEDULE-B along with the document. Duringsuch demographic survey each Household is required to be assigned a uniqueIdentification No., seriatim within each location in the manner (unstable location codeprefix/seriatim Notional household Number)1.1.7 Image of each of such Head of Household is required to be captured <strong>for</strong> preparationsof photo identify cards (PIC) to be distributed among the Project Affected Families(PAF).1.1.8 Similar type of survey work is also to be done in respect of other communityinfrastructures, educational and other institutions, shops and market complex etc. in the<strong>for</strong>mat given in SCHEDULE-C which falls in the subsidence prone areas. Each of suchcommunity infrastructures, educational and other institutions, shops and market complexetc. shall have to be assigned a unique ID No., treating them as a separate NotionalHousehold.Page 5 of 52
