Dear Clinicians,We know that a vast number of dentists want to get started inimplant dentistry, but did not receive this training in dentalschool. Anyone can understand this desire. Dental implantsrepresent the best treatment option for many of your patients, and you want to provide those services to them at reasonablerates and with high success. We share these sentiments. However, it can be difficult to find exactly the right course toreceive your implant education. Some are very expensive;others require a great deal of travel. Some are not structuredaccording to sound academic principles. Our course isdesigned to address these concerns.First, we bring the lecturers to you. It makes more sense to“meet in the middle” for the course, saving everyone time andexpense of travel costs. Our speakers are some of the best inthe world. Most of them are from an academic environment, and all of them are talented speakers and clinicians. Second, our course will give you a fundamental education in the basicplacement and restoration of implants. This is the sameprogram content you would find in a course at your localUniversity. Third, we ask all of our clinicians to be available toyou to consult with you as you prepare your first implant cases. We want your cases to be successful, and one important partof that is being able to ask questions of our speakers. The course consists of 5 days of training over two weekends. Itis designed for general dentists with little or no background inimplant dentistry. The goal of the program is to give you thedidactic knowledge, hand skills, and treatment planningbackground you need to make implants a part of your practice. In the first session, one of our internationally known speakerswill travel to your area to lay the educational foundation forsuccessful implant surgery. This consists of lecture, casestudies, and hands-on activities. Course delegates areencouraged to bring in records of your patients for treatmentplanning and discussion. The second session will focus onrestorative aspects of dental implants, including basic singletoothrestorations, overdentures, and an in-depth discussion ofesthetics and implants. Throughout the course you will findhands-on activities to teach you basic implant placement skills. Our commitment to you in presenting this course, is to provideyou with what you need to make dental implants a significantand predictable part of your dental practice. Imagine being ableto place and restore 10 implants per month as a service to yourpatients. I hope you will make this important and exciting stepinto implant dentistry!Sincerely,Scott McCallumPresidentAlabama Implant Education, LLCAbout the CourseComprehensive EducationWhile many courses for learning implant dentistry are available, few are comprehensive in scope.Alabama Implant Education is committed to providing a quality education with university-basedlecturers.
