TheConference will provide an opportunity fordelegates to share and explore new insightson:1. The diversity and relevance <strong>of</strong> <strong>heritage</strong>,with an emphasis on the connectionbetween the tangible and intangible2. Strengthening the <strong>heritage</strong> movement,including the global south where culturalassets are under increasing threatAlive and doing well: the famed mountain gorillaSo why not combine y<strong>our</strong> attendance at ICNT 15 with anextended stay to explore the many res<strong>our</strong>ces <strong>Uganda</strong>has to <strong>of</strong>fer?♦ Snow on the Equator? Yes, we have it, (at least foranother 20 years or so) in the Rwenzori Mountains(the Mountains <strong>of</strong> the Moon)♦ Wildlife parks? Yes, plenty <strong>of</strong> them – visitwww.ugandawildlife.org to appreciate their diversityand unique features♦ The famed mountain gorilla? Yes, only in this part <strong>of</strong>the world, and in the ‘Impenetrable’ Bwindi forest –also a UNESCO world <strong>heritage</strong> site♦ Extraordinary birdlife?
