Installation Instructions for Storm Drain SystemEasy Installation in 4 simple stepsEasy toinstall!1. Dig the trench• Form trench for Reln StormDrain System allowing fora 50mm bed of packedsand and wide enough for aminimum of 100mm backfillof concrete on each side.• Allow slope of approximately30cm to every 20m.2. Insert End Cap or End Outlet• Join Reln Storm Drain System.Joins and End Caps may besealed with silicone. Use RelnEnd Cap at highest point ofReln Storm Drain Channel.Connect the low end of theStorm Drain Channel to aRainwater Pit, or, using 90mmPVC pipe use built in BottomOutlet, or fit an End Outlet toallow water to clear.• Lay Storm Drain Channel outwith 90˚ Corner Piece or TeePiece connected and End Capfitted prior to concreting.3. Snap together lengths• Storm Drain Channel can becut to length with a hacksaw,install with grate fitted.• Protect grate with maskingtape during concrete pour.4. Finish.• Top of grate must be 2mmbelow concrete or paversurface.• Allow 72 hours for concreteto cure before vehicle use orremoval of grates.Designed to withstand5 tonne vehicle weight withoutmoving in concreteStorm Drain Technical Details.
