MIG/MAG standard welding machines, infinite control
Picomig 180 basic
Small and light – ideal for construction sites
Whether construction site, assembly, workshop,
production site – the right machine for every location
and every task.
Professionally equipped
Full welding processes: MIG/MAG standard, MMA and TIG (Liftarc) welding
in a single machine
The professional for construction sites and assembly
Small, light, universal – the plastic casing and innovative inverter technology
make this the perfect tool for practical applications
Twin-dial operation
The operating point is set in the normal way via welding voltage and
wire-feed rate, similar to the thyristor machines but with the benefits of an
inverter system
Consistent welding results
The innovative EWM inverter technology is characterised by especially low
energy consumption, great power reserves and a long life, regardless of
cable lengths and mains voltage fluctuations
Antistick – weld like a professional
Extremely easy welding: the arc burns steadily without the stick electrode
sticking or annealing
100% suitable for construction sites
Perfect for large construction sites and the toughest assembly work with
mains supply leads of up to 50 metres or connected directly to a generator.
High tolerance to mains fluctuations ensures a perfect welding result
Overview
The gas- and water-cooled MIG/MAG welding torches are
part of our integrated system. They are coordinated with all
other EWM components, and this combination ensures that
the full performance capability of the power sources goes
into the welding process.
Extreme robustness and durability reduce wear and the cost
of spare parts. The separate shielding gas guide also reduces
gas losses to a considerable extent, reducing consumption
and avoiding process problems. Life-cycle costs are comparatively
low, which makes for rapid amortisation.
The advantage of quality
MT series
Highlights
NEW EWM AMT – automation torch
Available with stretched torch neck or in angles of exactly 0°, 22°, 36°, or 45°.
Wearing parts and power are compatible with the MT series. Stable grip bar
made of fibre-reinforced plastic with anti-kink spring
Minimising process faults
Adequate cooling is ensured with EWM torches. A separate gas supply
prevents oxygen being sucked in. In addition an excellent gas cover and a
transition-free wire guide from the wire feed to the contact tip prevent possible
process problems
Fatigue-free working with the lowest effort
Ergonomically formed grip plates and optimum balancing make fatigue-free
working with minimum effort possible over a longer period of time
Quick amortisation due to low life-cycle costs
Extreme robustness and durability reduce wear and the cost of spare parts.
The contact tips, which are manufactured from low-wear zirconium copper,
contribute to this. Screw-on and nickel-plated gas nozzles ensure a secure fit,
the best heat dissipation and lower spatter adhesion. The separate gas supply
reduces gas loss
Long service life
EMW torches can be operated for a very long time without interruption. The
excellent cooling decreases wear considerably, clearly reduces downtime and
set-up time and also helps to avoid to errors
Function torches
Function torch Up/Down (U/D, 2xU/D)
MIG/MAG welding torches
With the Up/Down remote control function you can comfortably adapt the wire speed or the
welding voltage to your task while welding or during the welding break. Program and JOB
selection are also possible depending on the machine type. Up/Down torches are available
with one (U/D) or two pairs of buttons (2x U/D)
Function torch Powercontrol (PC1, PC2)
This variant provides the highest level of comfort: complete access to all
settings and display of all important parameters directly on the torch. With
a glance at the three-digit LED display, you change the wire speed, voltage
correction, programs and JOBs. Powercontrol torches are available with one
(PC1) or two pairs of buttons (PC2)
Welding torch with replaceable neck
Torch necks available in three different bend radii
allow an optimal welding position at all times. This
way you not only reach each welding point without
difficulty, the replaceable neck also relieves the
guide hand, enabling you to concentrate on your
welding task for much longer
EWM fume extraction torches
Replace extraction arms and hose systems
and extract the fumes at exactly the point
where they develop. With their compact
design they also provide a high degree
of flexibility. The special geometry of the
extraction nozzle prevents any swirling or
extraction of the shielding gas
