A mere five teams gathered<strong>for</strong> an completely unlimited, no handicap showdownon the boards.Un<strong>for</strong>tunately, the gathering audience was bigger thanthe field of competitors <strong>for</strong> this one. But that didn’t deterTeresa, who found a way to spread out the tournament playover several hours, and maintain high player morale. Fiveteams competed in a best-of-seven round robin, and eachteam’s wins were accumulated to determine a winner.Each team paid their entry fees, plus a $25 sponsorshipfee if they hoped to takethe cup to their sponsoringbar upon winningthe tournament.The only sponsoredteam in the bunch wasJohn Husman and DavidFoster, who wereplaying <strong>for</strong> Cloud 9.A f t e r s e v e r a lhours of dart relatedand non-dart relatedantics, Kevin and JeffJr. took 3rd place and$40.00. Bresee andTodd landed in 2ndplace with $150.00,Chad takes the High Out Potgoing down in the finals to John and David, who pocketed$250.00, and promptly carted the trophy off to it’s newhome in the Kent Valley. We were surprised to hear thatboth Mandy and Regina have nicesinging voices.All five of Ringer’s well-used,well-maintained Medalist dart boardswere blinking and chattering throughoutthe evening as 18 teams tried tooutshoot each other <strong>for</strong> cash money.Terrence ran the tourney, butmade it very clear that he was NOTcoming out of retirement. Besides,Sandy Hinton just took over as Ringer’sofficial Dart Coordinator.Mandy was lucky to have herfriend Tess there, coordinating thebirthday stuff, including a beautifulcake and it’s safe delivery.Brett, recently announced somebig news too. He and his partners havejust purchased Danny’s Pub in Kirkland,and plan to remodel and reopenthe bar in a couple months.
