Watchmakers of Switzerland Training and Educational ProgramCentre Suisse de formation et de perfectionnement horlogerRefresher CourseJanuary - May 2014 (exact dates remain to be set)Information for prospective studentsWe would like to stress that this WOSTEP course does not include basic training, therefore candidates musthave sufficient experience to be able to follow our sessions which are highly demanding.Each student will receive marks for the following :• 3 intermediate examinations on :- Gear train- Escapement- Hairspring• Repairs during the course• Final theoretical examination• Final practical examination on : automatic, quartz and chronograph watchesThe highest mark is 6 and to obtain the WOSTEP diploma 4 or more must be obtained for each mark.Your answers to the enclosed questionnaire should therefore be as accurate as possible since it will be usedto personalise the teaching.Also we would like to stress that candidates have to be fluent in both spoken and written ENGLISH.
