The contentof the supply water is not an issue; theSK300 accepts any type of water (tap, RO or DI).Using the AFEC ® patented technology, the watersensor will measure the mass of the water (insteadof the conductivity) insuring a proper waterlevel at all times.The steam can be distributed into a duct by asteam grid or with a fan distribution unit for directspace applications.Once the final assembly of the SK300 is complete,all units are fully tested and run through afull start-up procedure to ensure superior qualityprior to shipping.

The AFEC ® systemconsists of a mass measuring water sensor,antifoam sensor, electronic high temperaturesensor, interactive LCD display andmicroprocessor controller.The AFEC ® system is unique because thewater level sensor cannot be falselytriggered by foam forming on the surface ofthe boiling water. Simplicity of Operation and ServiceThe SK300 humidifier consists of an automatically water FED permanent stainless steel evaporationchamber which can be easily removed for service.Periodic service of the evaporation chamber can be easily done in minutes.Remote communication with the SK300 humidifier using BACnet ® allows change ofvariables such as set point or PID parameters as well as display of comprehensiveinformation of the humidifier operation.Ease of Maintenance1. Lower evaporation chamber using lifting mechanism and remove water tank for scaleremoval and cleaningDONE!Outdoor Enclosure OptionEase of installation: The SK300 with outdoorenclosure has been designed to be installed on a roofcurb, but it can also be installed on a stand. Theconnections (water supply, drain, steam, powersupply and controls) can be made from the side orbottom of the unit allowing complete flexibility to anyconfiguration.Ease of access: The alphanumeric display is accessiblethrough a window thus there is no need to open the frontdoor to get a status of the humidifier. The outdoor enclosureis equipped with a hinged door and gasket for atight seal and provides full and direct access to theevaporation chamber and the electrical panel.Robust design for any climate: The SK300 outdoor enclosureis fully insulated and constructed from heavyduty steel. The bottom drip pan is made from stainlesssteel. Exterior and interior surfaces are protected with azinc primer and a polyurethane powder coating for bestresistance against scratching and corrosion. A built-inanti-freeze and overheat protection ensures safeoperation in any climate.
