The technical specialistsare working diligently and the mainframe data conversion is developingvery well. Security for all modules is being identified and roles establishedfor users that will enable staff to perform their jobs. The team is working closelywith the other modules to ensure all changes and updates made during theconversion are cohesive.Training opportunities are available for department training leads. Train-thetrainerapproach will be utilized for flexibility. The Campus Community team isrequesting that one to two individuals from each department attend the trainingsession and learn the product. Participants will in turn train and distributeinformation to others in their offices/units. To sign up for a training sessionvisit http://hrs.wsu.edu/zzusis. Additional training resources will be made availableafter the initial trainings.Campus Community serves as the hub of the zzusis Project and this roll outreflects the hard work and dedication of reaching yet another milestone for theoverall project.Admissions Go LiveSummer 2011A highly ancipated advance in the zzusisproject will be the Admission’s module goinglive this summer. This module applies toboth undergraduate/graduate students onall campuses, including the pharmacy andveterinary programs, that enroll in 2012 andlater.Admissions is eager for the benefits that willarise from the new module. For starters, themodule will accommodate self-service op-ons that enable students to view checklistitems for admission, accept or decline admissiononline, and feature automated processesfor delivering communicaons. Thefeatures of the Admissions module areaimed to increase user capabilies and efficiencieswhile performing less paperworkand create beer opportunies for service.Train-the-trainer sessions are planned thissummer with addional training resourcesavailable. Dean believes this gives a moremeaningful experience to the end user.
