Dr. Tim Berry
It’s a bit like the chicken and egg thing.
The network marketing industry came first, but it’s Agel that
made it work. Just ask Agel Corporate Directors Julie Mirr and
Dr. Tim Berry. On their own, they had each found network
marketing as a pathway to personal freedom and opportunity.
For Julie, a litigation paralegal, initially it was a way to meet the
demands of a growing family, allowing her to replace her legal
income without leaving home. For Tim, a successful physician
working long, stressful hours, it was about taking control of his
day-to-day routine and seeing more of his wife and children. Julie
and Tim met at their previous company where they enjoyed a
tremendous success as Top Producers and Top Earners both
individually and as a team.
But after years of effort, Tim and Julie began to feel they
were spinning their gears in a no-growth company without the
potential for long term residual income or security. Julie was tired
and ready to retire. “I just didn’t have any passion left for the
work. I thought I’d let it go and go paint or become a mountain
climber or something.” Then something happened. Something
that would change everything. That something was Agel.
Tim and Julie had both been huge fans of Randy Gage’s
instructional material. “We used his duplication model as part
of our training philosophy,” says Tim, “and when we heard he
was getting back into the business it definitely caught our attention.”
Soon, it captured their imagination, too. They found everything
they were looking for in Agel—a talented, experienced
management team, solid financial backing, international presence,
a common-sense consumable product, a systematic way to
build the business, all the tools, the focus on true duplication, a
pay plan that rewarded effort, and the opportunity to have an
impact on what they considered to be a company destined to be
one of the greatest companies in the history of the industry.
Still the decision was a difficult one. “It meant starting from
scratch and building again,” explains Julie.
As it happened it took personally hearing Glen Jensen, CEO
of Agel, share his vision and a comment from Agel President,
Craig Bradley, to seal the deal. Julie adds, “When a seasoned veteran
like Craig mentioned that after all his professional experiences,
Keeping It Simple
Agel was ‘his last rodeo,’ that really stuck with me. I realized that
Agel could, in fact, be the natural culmination of all my years in
network marketing. Suddenly, it all made sense.”
Since then Tim and Julie have made something of a name for
themselves at Agel. They work hard, welcome everyone, and
“A commitment to simplicity is our secret to success,”
prescribes Dr. Berry. “The system works if you will let it.”
methodically go about building their business. They believe in
leading by example and keeping things extremely simple. “A commitment
to simplicity is our secret to success,” prescribes Dr.
Berry. “The system works if you will let it.”
By utilizing the proven tools and duplicable system, Tim
and Julie have been able to rapidly build a global business and
help many others to do the same. Their team has embraced the
system and developed businesses in markets all over North
Tim lives with his wife, Debra, and 2 children
in Englewood, Tennessee.
America, in addition to worldwide expansion in Finland, Wales,
India, and the Czech Republic to name a few.
“We love what we do,” Julie confirms, “because on a daily
basis we have the opportunity to work with people from cultures
all over the world who want what Agel has to offer.”
