Tristan with wife Brooke and their daughter Kyla
This fundraiser is to help Tristan Loew, son of Wendy and Senior Grand Deacon Franklin J. Struble,
and his family cover the expenses incurred after he was diagnosed with advanced CML Leukemia.
After years of incorrect diagnosis it was discovered that Tristan’s spleen was 5 times its normal
size and the Leukemia was discovered. Tristan had been laid off from work and was uninsured
the first month of treatment and hospital intensive care was costly and beyond the ability of the
family to cope. This fundraiser is to help them with those expenses. Tristan has since been able to
obtain insurance.
There will be a drawing for a Mathews Bow, Go Cart and
other items.
Donations of items for the drawings and silent auction
are still being sought.
Thanks to the Brothers of Blue Hills Lodge who donated the use of the Lodge Building
and the Brothers of Valley Lodge No. 60 for their continued support!

Leadership is a family affair in River Falls
How many Masonic families can claim three brothers as Past Masters
of a lodge? It might be nice to find out if any family in the state of Wisconsin
can make that claim. The Hoffman family of River Falls has just
that distinction. Their family alone has produced three Masters of River
Falls Lodge No. 109. Pictured (from left ): Dave Hoffman, current Master

Sportsmen’s Shoot
August 25, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
50 Target Skeet at Tomah/Warrens Gun Club
50 Target Sporting Clays at Woods & Meadow
Skeet will start at 8 a.m. and run through noon. Sporting clays can
be shot anytime after skeet until 4 p.m. Door prizes will be drawn
after sporting clays is complete.
Cost: $20.00 skeet, $20.00 sporting clays,
$10.00 optional Lewis
Lunch and drawing for door prizes is included in the shooting price
All proceeds go to Camp Douglas Lodge No. 272 to be used for
scholarships and supplies for local schools.
