On June 20, Sister Lillian Marie Reiter, O.S.B., was elected prioress of the Olivetan BenedictineSisters of Jonesboro, AR. Celebrating her Golden Jubilee in 2008, Sister Lillian Marie’s professionalcareer has been in the field of education. She has served as principal, but her favorite place has alwaysbeen the classroom,Homecomingbe it Arkansas, Louisiana, or Texas.WeekendSister Lillian taught2011!!!at <strong>Sacred</strong> <strong>Heart</strong>, heralma mater, from 1975–1981, and again from 1998–2011, during which time students in grades K–5were most blessed to have her as their Religion teacher. While it is very hard for Sister Lillian to notbe returning to her students, her heart is open to God’s call. Stepping out in faith in assuming leadershipof her religious community, she requests the prayer support of her <strong>Sacred</strong> <strong>Heart</strong> Family, askingthat God grant her wisdom and strength Friday, in her new role.
