Our searchlights are produced in high<br />
quality seawater resistant aluminium, ensuring<br />
long life and a timeless design. Aluminium<br />
is more easily and nature friendly<br />
recycled than steel and our products<br />
comply to RoHS directive. Norselight will<br />
give you a ”Green Passport” along with<br />
the product whenever needed.<br />
Operating panel<br />
This panel is for flush mounting and<br />
protected IP 22. The panel is fed by 24<br />
VDC and is approved for installation in<br />
the wheelhouse. The control panel is DNV<br />
approved, and the communication with the<br />
system is based on standard LAN 10/100<br />
Base-T. The protocol is ASCII and the<br />
system can be connected to other control<br />
systems through TCP/IP connections.<br />
The panel can be connected to sub<br />
panel(s) for controlling the main panel’s<br />
joystick remote from the panel.<br />
Sub panel<br />
The sub panel is connected to the<br />
operating panel with five wires.<br />
The sub panel is space saving and easily<br />
installed flush mounted.<br />
Computer control<br />
The searchlights can be totally controlled<br />
from PC or interfaced with other control<br />
systems.<br />
Special software from Norselight is<br />
developed for running on standard PC<br />
operation on MS Win XP SP2.<br />
Wireless controll<br />
The wireless control panel is designed for<br />
outdoor marine environment. (IP 65 )<br />
The panel has a chargeable battery, and<br />
the charging connection is in front of the<br />
unit for easy connection. The communication<br />
is standard WLAN 802.11b 11Mbps<br />
The protocol is ASCII.<br />

Searchlight<br />
The searchlight is controlled in three axis by<br />
DC motors, which are pan, tilt and focus.<br />
The motor control board with communication<br />
interface is mounted in the junction box.<br />
The system can be used for halogen (SH),<br />
xenon (XS) and metal halide searchlights<br />
(SHRI). The power supply is 110-256<br />
VAC 50/60 Hz. The searchlight is<br />
equipped with 24 VDC power supply.<br />
Planning<br />
You can connect up to nine searchights in<br />
total on the same control system.<br />
The searchlights supports halogen, xenon<br />
and metal halide searchlights.<br />
UNIqUE <strong>CONTROL</strong><strong>SYSTEM</strong><br />
As easy as it can be<br />
The Searchlight Control System (SCS)<br />
provides the operator with a optimized<br />
work environment. The system is BUS<br />
operated, which makes it easy and cost<br />
effective to install. With this unique system<br />
you can connect up to nine searchlights to<br />
the same control panel.<br />
You can control the searchlight directly<br />
from your panel, via the wireless controll<br />
or via your PC. The searchlights and<br />
the controlpanels are connected to a<br />
common RS-485 network, which reduce<br />
the installation cost, time and wiring on the<br />
vessel.<br />
Automatic sweep function from pc<br />
With the new automatic sweep function it<br />
is possible to carry out rescue operations<br />
by using the searchlights to sweep the surface<br />
for objects automatically. In addition,<br />
with the computer control the security level<br />
of the vessel can be increased by using<br />
the automatic sweep function. The crew<br />
can carry out other tasks, while the automatic<br />
sweep function scans the horizon as<br />
a preventive measure.<br />
