When a code isapproved, a Court may have regard to it in relation to compliance with therelevant sections of the Health and Safety in Employment Act. This means thatif an employer in an industry or using a process to which an approved codeapplies can show compliance with that code in all matters it covers, a Courtmay consider this to be compliance with the provisions of the Act to which thecode relates.Hon.
