Sacombank in 2007 had a sterling fi nancial performance after 16 years of operations. These achievements can be attributed to our enthusiastic staff, customers and the community. Our staff always did their best to follow the vision set by senior management years ahead. The vision will enable Sacombank to reach its 2010 goals and beyond with confi dence. The achievements of 2007 resulted from competitive advantages. These were organization structures that allow effective management, asset growth, fi nancial management, human resources development, applying modern bank technology, product diversifi cation, and identifying market niches to increase market share and attracting new and potential customers. In 2008, the intermediate year of the 5-year plan (2006-2010), Sacombank is determined to maintain a sound growth rate, promoting its lead retail bank position. At some stage, Sacombank will become a multi-purpose fi nancial group, able to provide packaged fi nancial solutions to bring addedvalue to customers and also accumulate funds for the Bank and its member companies. The Bank plans to limit credit activities in 2008, especially those for speculation in real estate and securities. With an annual growth rate of between 50% and 70%, Sacombank can be expected to contribute to acceleration of industrialization and modernization in Vietnam while maintaining its operations within safe boundaries. 23 Congenial working enviroment
