Beliau merupakanPensyarah Kanan di Fakulti Kejuruteraan Elektrikdan Elektronik.Dr Nafarizal dilahirkan di Bintong, Perlis pada30 Disember 1979 dan dibesarkan di KampungTeluk Jambu Kangar, Perlis dan baru mendirikanrumahtangga pada akhir tahun 2010.Memulakan pendidikan di Sek. Keb. Seri Tunjong,Chuping, Perlis pada tahun 1985 hingga 1991.Kemudian, mendapat pendidikan di Sek. Men.Derma Kangar, Perlis antara tahun 1992 hingga 1994.Selepas mendapat keputusan PMR, Dr Nafarizalmenyambung pelajaran di Sek. Men. TeknikAlor Star, Kedah pada tahun 1995 hingga 1996.Beliau telah ditawarkan untuk melanjutkanpengajian di Jepun. Bermula dengan mengikutiRancangan Persediaan Khas ke Jepun, Asasi SainsUniversiti Malaya, pada tahun 1997 hingga 1998.Beliau kemudian melanjutkan pengajian diperingkatSarjana Muda di dalam bidang Electrical andElectronic Engineering and Information Engineering,di Nagoya University, Japan. Beliau melanjutkanpengajian di peringkat Sarjana di dalam bidangElectronics Engineering di universiti yang sama.Berkat kecekalan dan semangat yang jitu, padausia 29 tahun, beliau menerima anugerah DoktorFalsafah (PhD) dalam bidang Electrical Engineeringand Computer Science pada Mac 2008di Nagoya University, Japan.A N U G E R A H1. Kemudian pada Mei 2009 beliau telahdinaikkan pangkat sebagai Pensyarah Kanan.Selain bidang penulisan dan penyelidikan,Dr Nafarizal juga bergiat aktif dalam gabungan badanprofessional antaranya Board of EngineerMalaysia (BEM), Japan Society of Applied Physics (JSAP)dan Institute of Engineers Malaysia (IEM), GraduateMember, Electrical. Beliau fasih berbahasa Jepundan pernah menjadi penceramah jemputan untuk‘Student’s Life in Malaysia’ for Japanese students inNihonFukushi University ( orientasi persediaanpertukaran pelajar).Nihon Fukushi University (NFU),Aichi, Japan, August 2, 2005. Beliau juga memegangjawatan antaranya Ketua Makmal dan KetuaPusat Mikroelektronik dan Nanoteknologi – ShamsudinResearch Centre (MiNT-SRC).

Sebagaipanduan, pihak perpustakaan telah meletakkan simbol Wi-Fi(seperti gambarajah) di ruang atau kawasan ”Hotspot” yangmana ia boleh diakses oleh pengguna secara percuma.Untuk membolehkan pengguna mengakses kemudahan ini,pengguna dikehendaki menggunakan kata laluan emel UTHMpelajar atau staf yang telah diberikan. Koleksi ini disusundi rak terbuka mengikut sistem nombor panggilan yangditetapkan iaitu Sistem Pengkelasan Library of Congress bermuladengan pengkelasan A bagi karya am sehingga Z bagi sumbermaklumat dan sains perpustakaan. Lokasi koleksi aksesterbuka di Perpustakaan UTHM terdapat di Aras 2, 3 dan 4.Semua staf dan pelajar dibenarkan meminjam buku darikoleksi ini.

The room is located next tothe library entrance at Level 1 and is 570 squaremeters wide. It opens 24 hours daily and for revisionand discussion at any time even after the library isclose.With the capacity up to 300 users at one time, thisroom is equipped with 52 reading desks and51 carrel desks. Additionally, electrical socket andwireless internet access is also provided for thosewho bring along their laptop and wish to surf theInternet. Users are allowed to bring their bag andlaptop into the room. However, only mineral waterand snacks are allowed inside, while heavier fooditems are prohibited.The use of the 24 Hours Reading Room is governedby the Main Library’s regulations and policies, andby its Code of Conduct which can be viewed at the UTHM Library website.
