Over the last few years I have been pleased to witness
the rapid blossoming of Baw Baw’s arts and cultural
scene. Never before have we been blessed with such
a variety of talented artists and vibrant arts projects
enriching our community.
In these pages you will discover a diverse range of
people, groups and organisations representing a wide
array of artistic genres including painting, drawing,
sculpture, calligraphy, ceramics, textiles, theatre and
live music.
You will discover many galleries, studios and arts
venues in this guide, including of course the brilliant
West Gippsland Arts Centre, Warragul.
Our Arts Centre is an outstanding community asset
offering a wide ranging program of performing and
visual arts for all ages and interests. I commend our
Manager Arts and Culture, Rob Robson and the Arts
Centre team for their vision

our Cultural Development Officer, Karen Whitaker-
