JLT international networkPartnersSIACI SAINT HONORE (S2H), GrECo Group (GrECo),and Ecclesia Group (Ecclesia) have come togetherwith Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT), to sign an exclusivetrading agreement, which encompasses compatiblebranding and alignment for mutual development of allinsurance, reinsurance and employee benefits activities.The new JLT International Network Partners in Europenow sit at the core of the JLT International Network,with the exclusive trading agreement forming a standardfor future development in other key territories in whichJLT wishes to be represented.JLT international networkMembersWe choose our non-owned JLT International Networkmembers in the rest of the world for their knowledge,quality, reputations and strength in their domesticmarket-place. We expect them to have the capabilityto compete for and win the largest accounts in theirterritory. The majority of these relationships arelongstanding: a track record of high-quality service andability to work effectively as part of the JLT InternationalNetwork.We have a non-exclusive partner broker agreement inplace with each of our principal JLT InternationalNetwork members. These relationships are constantlymonitored and managed to ensure that the higheststandards are maintained.2

USaThe JLT International Network acts independently in theUSA, and has no single retail relationship. JLT's strategyis to be the champion of the USA independent sectorto provide them with access to the JLT InternationalNetwork and international markets.JLT’s strategic approach for our clients with US interestsis to partner with a large national or regional US broker,depending upon our clients wishes, geographicallocation and industry specialist expertise, and uses apanel of the leading and regional independent brokersin this regard.Client Service ModelWe give Clients control of their insurance programmes,enabling them to use the JLT International Network ina way that best suits their objectives and requirements.Our flexible service models and style is adapted to meetClient needs; there is no set template for internationalservice.Best practices are shared across the JLT InternationalNetwork, driving up the quality of service. Centralauditing and management maintains standards andprovides a built-in resource to resolve issues.3

network ManagementGlobal Service TeamA central team is ultimately responsible for themanagement and infrastructure of the JLT InternationalNetwork. We do not take these aspects for granted buthave active processes that improve communication andshare best practice and key information. The team is onhand to quickly resolve potential issues that could affectClient service.At the core of our service proposition is a high level ofknowledge in the management of global insuranceprogrammes and of different countries’ legalrequirements and practices. Together with our flexiblestyle this creates a better service experience – reducingthe time our Clients spend devising, implementing andmanaging their international insurance programme.This central multi-lingual team is the London-based hubof the JLT International Network. This team comprisesmulti-national insurance management experts and canbe used for specific account coordination and globalreviews.As a ‘knowledge centre’ it is a single reference point forthe JLT International Network and its Clients for technicalmatters, which are key to successful programme designand effective administration, for example policy issuance,premium tax and premium allocation/payment.4
