84 178B I D D I N G W I T H C O R I N P H I L AIf you cannot participate in our auction in person, please let us have your bid in writing as early as possible (by e-mailor fax). Bids lower than the estimates printed in our catalogues have hardly any chance of success. Written bids receivedlater than 2 hours before the start of the sale may not be processed. In the event of identical written bids, the earliest willtake precedence.Alternative bids can be placed by using the word „OR“ between lot numbers. To have a better chance of being successfulas a bidder we recommend setting a limit for the total amount of your purchases (excl. 20% buyers premium): forexample, bidding on a range of lots with a total amount of 10.000 CHF and setting a limit of 7.500 CHF for yourpurchases means that the total for lots knocked down to you will not exceed the limit you have set. We know fromexperience that written bids are rarely successful on all lots.On the other hand, you might have been interested in other lots as well, but not knowing which lots would be knockeddown to you and being worried to spend more than a certain amount, you did not bid on them. Giving a total purchaselimit (see also the Bid Form in this catalogue) enables you to have a better chance of being a more successful postalbidder!Your written bids will be used only as long as any personally present bidders in the auction room or any other written bidsare competing against you. Lots are sold at the lowest price possible: if, for example, you bid 2.200 CHF for a certainstamp and the nearest bid (written or verbal) amounts to 1.500 CHF, you will obtain the lot for 1.600 CHF (i.e. 600 CHFless than your bid, please refer to minimum charge scale published in this catalogue). We represent you exactly as if youwere personally attending the auction sale. The fastest way to transmit your postal bids is by e-mail: info@corinphila.ch or by fax +41 (0) 44 - 389 91 95.Minimum bidding incrementsup to CHF 200 = sFr 10 from CHF 5`000 up to CHF 15`000 = CHF 500from CHF 200 up to CHF 500 = sFr 20 from CHF 15’000 up to CHF 30`000 = CHF 1’000from CHF 500 up to CHF 1`000 = sFr 50 from CHF 30’000 up to CHF 50`000 = CHF 2’000from CHF 1`000 up to CHF 2`000 = sFr 100 from CHF 50’000 up to CHF 150`000 = CHF 5’000from CHF 2`000 up to CHF 5`000 = sFr 200 from CHF 150`000 = CHF 10’000Start prices, bids, hammer prices and invoices exclusively in Swiss Francs (CHF).Start prices in Euro (EUR) indicated in the catalogues are only for information. For your written bids kindly use ALWAYS Swiss Francs (CHF).You can also bid on-line live as if you were attending the sale in the auction room. For furter information see: www.corinphila.chAuthenticity.
