• 416 specimens of bryophytes – 299 mosses, 117liverworts & hornworts• 107 sp & varieties - 48 genera & 22 families ofmosses- represents ca. 18 % of the 600 mosses reportedfor Sabah- ca. 15 % of the 736 mosses reported for Borneo• new to Sabah: Leucobryum javense var. cyathifolium• new to Borneo: Mitthyridium cardotii &Fissidens ganguleei17


The largest moss family is Calymperaceae(25 species)- followed by Sematophyllaceae (16 species)- Similar to MBCA18
