(Freeman)Nunez.Dale graduated from Socorro HighSchool in 1978 and immediately joined theArmy and was stationed in Germany.Dale was a very hard working and adevoted family man. He was very well likedand respected by everyone that knew him.He never met a stranger and could carry ona conversation with anyone.Dale worked at Dicapearl in Socorro for27 years. He was a special person who willbe greatly missed by everyone that knewhim.He was preceded in death by his parents;his son, Dale P. His parents were SocorroCounty pioneer ranchers. Five generations ofthe Bruton family have ranched in NewMexico.Jack’s grandparents, Charlie and AgnesBruton, ranched for a time in Texas andbegan ranching in New Mexico in the1880’s.Jack married his high school sweetheart,Grace Harriet, in 1948. In 1952, Jack andGrace started ranching on the San AugustinePlains. The Bruton family has ranched onthose plains ever since. Throughout his life,Jack was active in the community. He servedon the Socorro Electric Cooperative Inc.Board for 40 years. He was on the SaladoSoil Conservation Board for 15 years and onthe Good Samaritan Planning Board forSocorro County.Jack was also a member in the NewMexico Cattle Grower’s Association and theNew Mexico Farm Livestock Bureau.
