LIVE THE LIFEYOU DESERVE TO LIVEkimber seversonNVPIndependent Consultant, National Vice-PresidentKimber Severson Nation; Sioux Falls, SDWow, what a difference a year can make! When I fi rst heard aboutArbonne, I was working hard in corporate America and not in search ofanything else. I had what I would consider my dream job as the marketingdirector for a hospital — and I had just given birth to our fi rst daughter,Dilynn. Why on earth would I want anything else to do? I did, however, want to support my friend, ENVP Sara Stanford, in her endeavor so Iagreed to go for lunch and hear about what she was up to with Arbonne. After hearing about the company and trying the amazing products, Iwas intrigued! I really liked that there were numerous ways to build abusiness and there was just something very different and refreshing aboutthis company. The company was stable and growing, the products werecutting edge, and the compensation plan blew my mind! After thinking Iwould be crazy to take on anything else in my life — I thought I wouldbe crazy not to take this on!But even with that feeling, I still had reservations: Is it too good to be true? Can something like this really work for me? I worked hard to get a Mastersdegree, should I be involved in network marketing? The questions wereanswered and fears were calmed when I met with ENVP Lynn Hagedorn.I was impressed with her and the caliber of people she had on her team. When I saw all of these people that were already successful in otherareas of their lives now building businesses with Arbonne, I knew therereally was something to it. It was more than just hype; it was reality. Afterthat meeting in Blair, NE I came back to Sioux Falls, SD and got startedbuilding a business right away! When looking back to my decision to start this journey I remember thinking“But do I really want to do that?” Even if the money is good and otherprofessionals are doing it, do I want to do that type of work? I want tobe passionate about what I do — Can I be passionate about skin careand vitamins? Well for anyone out there that believes you have to bepassionate about that to be good at this business — I want to let you inon a little secret … Arbonne is so much more than that. In fact, unlesspeople are involved in my business, most do not have a clue what I reallydo. I think some probably feel I am a “professional lip stick put-er-on-er”… honestly, I question my ability to apply my own!Why I am now so passionate about what I do is because I get to makea difference in the lives of others on a daily basis. There is nothing morerewarding than helping people truly change their lives for the better, whether it be through our life changing products or the business. I get tohelp people grow personally, grow fi nancially and live happier, healthierlives. There is just nothing better! The Severson family: Kimber, Dilynn and Aaron.Kimber’s daughter, Dilynn Rebecca.

Kimber and her husband, Aaron at the NVP retreat in Maui.Kimber’s mom, EDM Ann Erickson, Kimber and Kimber’s sisters,RVP Kari Nielsen and EAM Kayla Serocki. And now thanks to Arbonne, I have a balanced life. I am able toearn a residual income and take pride in the work I do, but I alsohave more time to spend with my family. There are no words thatcan describe that feeling of being able to do what you want whenyou want. Not having to ask permission to take your daughter tothe zoo on a Thursday afternoon is priceless. And best of all, I getto help others attain this as well. Our nation had very fast success and I have people ask, “What’sthe secret?” Well obviously there aren’t any secrets, but our successstrategy is HWWH: Hard Work With Heart. Pour yourself wholeheartedlyinto this business and your team. You see, you can do thework, but if you do not have genuine love and concern for people, you will not have a solid foundation for your business. Same goesthe other way. If you have a great love for others but are not willingto do the work, the results probably will not be there.I have always been a huge believer in teamwork and our team verymuch focuses on this. We do not ever want anyone to feel lost oralone on their Arbonne journey. It takes teamwork to make the dreamwork and I am blessed with a wonderful team.To my team at home: You guys are my Why. To my husband, Aaron— thanks for your unending support, patience and love. I could nothave built this business without you and all of your help. You arethe absolute best and I thank God for bringing us together. To ourdaughter, Dilynn — thanks for being patient while mommy doese-mail and for being my little helper. I look forward to each and everyday with both of you.EAM Kayla Serocki and her husband Chad, and to my parents,DM Wayne and Ann Erickson. I kid with you that it took you ninemonths to see the light and begin this journey with me … but afterseeing the light there is no stopping you!
