SAFETY FIRSTHow to make it saferCheck the free speedThe measured speed at a pressureof 6.3 bars should not exceed therated speed of the grinder. Thewheel must be removed beforethe grinder is checked. The checksshould be carried out regularly.Check the wheel guardAlways use the recommendedwheel guard and check that it isnot damaged. Never use a grinderwithout the wheel guard when thegrinding wheel requires one.Match the maximum speed ofthe wheel to the right grinderMake sure that the stated maximumspeed of the grinder never exceedsthe maximum speed of the grindingwheel.Check the grinding wheelMake sure that the grinding wheel isnot cracked or damaged in any way.The grinding wheel should have thecorrect hole dimensions and shouldbe fitted properly on the spindle toavoid unbalanced vibrations.Check flange and wheelcombinations correspond to nationalregulations.
