Using the MyBELMONT AccountThe MyBELMONT account provides Internet access to the data stored in AdministrativeInformation System (Jenzabar EX).A link is available on Belmont College’s home page in the upper right section of the page– MyBELMONT.LoginHereTo sign into your MyBELMONT account, enter your Student ID # (7 digit # beginning10XXXXX) in the box labeled User ID#. Enter the computer generated password (casesensitive) in the password box to the right of User ID#, and then click Login. Your nameshould appear in the upper left corner.User IDs and passwords are distributed during new student orientations.There are two different accounts with two different sets of log in info. If you do not haveyour user names and passwords, come to Office 152 to obtain them. A photo ID isrequired to obtain passwords.If you do not know your password for the MyBELMONT account but you can log intoyour student email account, you can reset the MyBELMONT password. Enter your UserID#, then click the I forgot my password link. Your student email account willimmediately receive an email from ‘mybelmont@belmontcollege.edu’ with a newpassword.The student email account has a user name consisting of your first initial, lastname and the last three digits of your student ID#. Ex. jdoe103 Your password isupper case first initial of first name + lowercase first initial of last name +student ID #. Example: Jd10XXXXX. You will be required to change thispassword when first signing into the email.


Your email address extension is @student.belmontcollege.edu.Ex. jdoe103@belmontcollege.eduTabsOnce logged in to the account, tabs are available.Click on the Students tab (3 rd tab over) to view:‣ My Courses‣ Final Grade Report‣ Unofficial Transcript‣ Handouts / How To Guides‣ Add / Drop ClassesThe clickable tabs you see when signed into the MyBELMONT account are based onyour role at the college. If you are missing tabs you feel you should see, contact theSupport Desk at supportdesk@belmontcollege.edu or at extension 1137.Your password can be changed by clicking on the Personal Info link to the right of yourname. Then click the Password tab.1

The Students Page appears as follows:Students PagePortlets on the Default Students Page provide the ability to do the following:‣ Obtain a grade report for any quarter/year combination‣ Obtain an unofficial transcript‣ Project GPA based on expected grades for courses currently enrolled‣ Register for classes in future quarter when the window is opened‣ Select Handouts for viewing or printing5


Course Information PageThe Course Information Page appears as follows:Portlets on the Default Course Information Page provide the ability to do the following:‣ See All My Courses (Past, Current, & Future) with clickable links to go to the sitefor that course‣ Determine Course Needs to complete your degree by matching your selectedmajor with your course history stored in the system, providing information onwhat classes will satisfy unmet needs‣ Search for a Course in past, current, or future schedules‣ Explore Majors and What If Scenarios (What if I change my major)‣ View Course Schedules for past, current, and future quarters and register forclasses when registration window is open and you are eligible.‣ View your Student Schedule‣ View your Course History (Classes completed and in Progress)‣ Complete a Degree Audit, comparing the requirements for your degree with yourcourse history6


Directions for Obtaining Course Information Posted on MyBELMONTWhen you sign into the account, click on the + to the left of the My Courseslink in the left hand column below Quick Links.Select the course where you want to view additional information.The links above Quick Links will change. Clicking on each link takes you to adifferent section of the LMS (Learning Management System).Attendance: Your attendance record as recorded by your instructor is availableto you.Syllabus: The standard course syllabus is accessible though this link if theinstructor has posted it. You can download it and print it.Announcements: Course information to be disseminated to all students enrolledin the class, such as reminders for assignments due, tests, etc. will be available ifyour instructor is using this option. You should check this link every time you loginto the site. The most current announcements will be posted on the top of thefile.7


Coursework: Assignments, readings, exams, and scheduled work can be postedby the instructor. As coursework is graded, that information is available to youthrough the Gradebook link.Calendar: Important dates related to this course can be designated by theinstructor. Yellow cells on the calendar indicate information is stored on thatdate. Click on the day number to access that information.Collaboration:o Chat (link in left hand column): A chat is available to members of theclass.o Course Mates: You can email your instructor or other members of theclass.o Forums: Thread discussions can be posted here.Gradebook: Students grades posted throughout the quarter by your instructor areavailable under this link.Grade Report: To view final grades for the quarter. It may be necessary tochange the term (quarter – ex.
